General Purpose: Buckets - Performance Series
These all-purpose buckets are designed for loading, carrying, stockpiling and backfilling in a variety of applications and materials, making them ideal for construction and industrial applications. Because this bucket is a Performance Series Bucket, you can expect optimized performance with the machine, increased productivity and lower fuel consumption.
-
Material Handling: Buckets - Performance Series
Material Handling Buckets are flat-floor buckets used for handling stockpiled materials such as aggregates or other easy-to-load materials requiring moderate breakout force. These are the best performers for production loading. Because this bucket is a Performance Series Bucket, you can expect optimized performance with the machine, increased productivity and lower fuel consumption.
-
Rock: Buckets - Performance Series
Rock Buckets are designed for face or bank loading in mining or quarry applications. A straight-edge provides higher breakout force and increased dump clearance; a spade-edge offers increased penetration. Sized for less dense material, they are ideal for transfer stations or loading high-sided trucks. Because this bucket is a Performance Series Bucket, you can expect optimized performance with the machine, increased productivity and lower fuel consumption.
-
Coal: Buckets - Performance Series
Coal Buckets are high-volume material movers and are ideal for loading and stockpiling coal and other materials of similar density. Because this bucket is a Performance Series Bucket, you can expect optimized performance with the machine, increased productivity and lower fuel consumption.
-
Rock: Buckets - Heavy Duty
Heavy Duty Rock Buckets are for use in extremely aggressive applications, such as face loading tightly compacted pit materials. This bucket is intended for use in materials where moderate abrasion and high impact is encountered, such as cold slag and shot granite. A variation of this bucket is also available for quarry applications.
-
Waste Handling: Buckets
Waste Handling Buckets move large volumes of low-density waste in transfer stations, landfills and recycling yards. Large capacities give maximum production when loading conveyors, trucks or hoppers.
-
Brooms - Angle
A loader equipped with an angle broom is ideal for cleaning and removing dirt, rock, snow and other debris from streets, parking lots, driveways, sidewalks and factory floors. Windrowing action moves loose debris ahead and to the side of the surface being swept. Brooms manually or hydraulically angle up to 30 degrees right or left of center. A water sprinkler kit is available for dust control.
-
Brooms - Special Application
Special Application Angle Brooms are for use in rugged duty applications such as sewer and pipeline, governmental and coal seam applications. These brooms hydraulically or manually angle and are specifically made for sweeping heavy material and coal seams. A water sprinkler kit is available for dust control.
-
Buckets - Grapple
Grapple Buckets are key producers in transfer stations, landfills and similar applications. Twin top clamps hold down paper, refuse and other loose material. With a top clamp bucket, the loader becomes a versatile material handling machine.
-
Buckets - High Dump
High Dump Buckets utilize dedicated dumping cylinders and a bottom hinge to “roll out” material. A wheel loader with this bucket reaches up and over the sides of loading bins and truck sides—higher than an ordinary bucket.
-
Buckets - Multi-Purpose
Multi-Purpose Buckets have a unique four-way action that can load, strip top soil, bulldoze, clamp pipe or large chunks of concrete, clean up debris and perform many other tasks. Closed, the bucket works conventionally. Partly open, the bucket can meter out fill material or even doze, making this bucket ideal for site cleanup or demolition.
-
Buckets - Side Dump
Side Dump Buckets dump both to the front and to the side of the machine, which is an advantage when working in tight quarters, such as street work, tunnel construction and levee building.
-
Buckets - Slag
Slag Buckets are specifically designed for slag handling in highly demanding steel mills and slag processing centers. They feature increased material thickness in critical structural components to provide maximum durability for aggressive hot or cold slag handling. Wear strips and gussets or liners on the inside of the floor and radius improve bucket strength for maximum structural life in extreme temperatures.
-
Buckets - Woodchip
Woodchip Buckets are optimized for moving large volumes of wood chips. The flat floor and straight edge work to scoop the bucket full and help heap the load high.
-
Coupler - Fusion™
With a Fusion Coupler, attachment offset is minimal, which increases machine performance. A patented wedging mechanism creates a tight, rattle-free fit, resulting in a long service life. An open-frame design clears sight lines from the operator's seat for loading and unloading confidently and quickly. Fusion gives Caterpillar customers one common interface across wheel loader models 924-972. This expanded machine compatibility allows one machine to use a range of work tools. Also, one work tool can be picked up by machines of many different sizes.
-
Forks - Log & Lumber
A loader equipped with these forks works well in a millyard. Flat tines and a raised back allow handling of both unfinished logs and stacked lumber.
-
Forks - Logging
Logging Forks are designed for loading and unloading trucks and feeding the mill with logs. They are designed to keep the load center of gravity in close to the machine for optimal lift capacity. Their rounded frame and tines match the profile of bundled logs and provide a rolling action for efficient loading and unloading.
-
Forks - Millyard
A loader equipped with a Millyard Fork is ideal for the millyard. It is designed and built for moving, sorting and feeding lumber into the mill. The one-piece top clamp closes down and allows the fork to pick up a single log or a large bundle.
-
Forks - Pallet
No loader attachment is as indispensable on the construction site as a Pallet Fork. Cat pallet forks have an open-frame design and offset tines for maximum visibility to the tines—even when used with the Fusion Coupler. They can be ordered with swinging or non-swinging tines.
-
Forks - Pipe & Pole
This fork is purpose-built for use in oil and gas field drilling, pipeline construction and above-ground utilities work. A two-piece top clamp can hold pipe as small as 2 inches to as large as 36 inches in diameter. The clamping surface has rubber contact pads to protect pipe from damage.
-
Material Handling Arms
Material Handling Arms allow the loader to precisely place pipe, concrete blocks, highway dividers and other construction materials quickly with maximum visibility and control.
-
Plows - Reversible
Hydraulic and Manual Reversible Plows can be angled to remove snow to either side. Quick reversing action is ideal for urban, rural and mountain roads, airports, large parking lots and industrial plants. Trip Edges are available on some models.
-
Plows - V
V-Plows optimize snow removal operations with a heavy-duty steel nose piece and divider to cut aggressively into heavy drifts and break up compacted snow. A loader with a V-Plow is the perfect choice for road clearing and heavy snow removal.
-
Rakes - Loader
Loader Rakes pile brush, load trucks and stack and carry debris. Features include thick, fabricated teeth, heavy-duty push bar and serrated tree pusher. A high brush rack retains the load better, prevents back spillage and increases carrying capacity. They are available with or without top clamps.
