In case you missed it, here’s a quick look at some of the Cat® machines featured at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017. We filled 60,000 square feet of exhibit space with 40 products, ranging in size from a skid steer loader to a 96-ton excavator. Check out the biggest crowd pleasers.

Excavators: 323F, 336F XE, 390F

Technology took centerstage across the excavator line, starting with the 323F. It’s the first excavator to include Cat GRADE as a standard feature—one that saves time, cuts costs and conserves fuel. Cat GRADE comes standard on the 336F XE too, along with a standard payload system that optimizes efficiency on the go. The 390F can also be equipped with integrated systems that shorten cycle time, improve loading efficiency and drive down fuel costs.

Loaders: 972M XE, 986K

The 972M XE got high marks for its advanced powertrain, best-in-class operator’s environment and 25 to 35 percent fuel efficiency advantage relative to similarly-sized loaders with conventional powertrains. CONEXPO visitors were buzzing about the 986K too. It’s a great four-pass match to Cat 740C, 745C and 770G off-highway trucks, delivering a 20 percent efficiency advantage over larger loaders in moderate truck-loading applications.

Dozers: D6N, D6T

Two mid-sized dozers got plenty of attention. The D6N is a versatile performer from first cut to finish grade, while the D6T has more pushing power for heavy dozing applications. Both come with fuel-saving features like standard enhanced auto shift and a variable speed demand fan. They’re also equipped with Slope Indicate, Stable Blade and Slope Assist, three standard technologies that improve operator productivity.

Grader: 14M3

For fast, accurate grading with less fuel and materials, the 14M3 is setting a new standard. The grader features more engine power, high-efficiency hydraulics, improved transmission performance and better machine balance. Plus a large suite of integrated technologies improves productivity and lowers operating costs.
